When I first saw a similar recipe several years ago, I never imagined it would taste good, let alone taste so gosh darn delicious that I’d start to crave it 24/7. The sweetness of the bananas and the creaminess of the avocados transform this pudding into a thick, luscious, decadent dessert all without any added refined sugars or other hidden ‘dirty’ ingredients. Plus, one serving packs a whopping 12 grams of fiber and 8 grams of pure plant-based protein along with nearly 20 vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients essential for a healthy body. Ingredients

2 large ripe bananas

2 ripe avocados

3 tbsp. creamy almond butter

1/2 cup almond milk (or any non-dairy milk of choice)

5 tbsp. raw cacao powder (substitute unsweetened cocoa powder if preferred)

1/4 tsp. sea salt

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed for 1 minute. Eat and enjoy!

Notes

P.S. Raw cacao, or unsweetened cocoa if using as a substitute, contains caffeine and may keep you awake a little longer if eaten before bed or as a midnight snack.
