Caramel Apple Smoothie (low sugar)

8 oz. unsweetened non dairy milk (I prefer almond milk)

2 tbsp. chia seeds

1 tbsp. flax meal

2 scoops protein powder of choice (I prefer USANA MySmartShake plant-based vanilla)

2 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 tsp. nutmeg

1 heaping tbsp. almond butter

1 small granny smith apple (save a few slices as garnish)

Stevia to taste

3-4 ice cubes (optional)


Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend on high for 1-2 minutes. Pour into a glass and garnish with a few slices of green apple for good luck. Eat, enjoy and feel fabulous!


This smoothie is perfect for anyone on a low-sugar diet or who is working to overcome a Candida yeast overgrowth in the body.
