Candida-friendly Chocolate Shake (Vegan, Low-Glycemic)

Ingredients

8 oz. unsweetened non-dairy milk (I prefer Trader Joe's Almond Milk)

4 oz. filtered water

2 scoops USANA MySmartShake plant-based protein base OR protein blend of your choice. Buy USANA here!

1 tbsp. MySmart Fibergy mix

2 tbsp. chia seeds OR chia gel

1 heaping tbsp. almond butter

2 heaping tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder OR raw cacao powder

Handful of ice

5-10 drops Stevia extract to taste

1 tbsp. raw cacao nibs (optional)


Directions

Mix all ingredients in a blender or NutriBullet and blend on high for 1 minute until creamy and smooth. 

Sit down, relax and enjoy before starting your day!

Notes

This shake makes a great low-glycemic breakfast option for anyone combating a Candida overgrowth, leaky gut or any other digestive disorders. If your body can handle sugar and you prefer a sweeter shake, option to add 1/2 or 1 frozen banana is a great addition.
