'Get That Glow' Green Smoothie

By incorporating this delicious, nutritious, skin-nourishing smoothie into your daily routine, you will rather quickly begin to see a total body transformation. This anytime-smoothie is a powerhouse of vitamins, minerals and healthy fats (flax + chia) that will kick start your digestion, rid your body of toxins, replenish your internal eco-system and reduce inflammation that contributes to poor health and skin. Get ready...your life is about to change and your skin is about to glow from the inside out!

Yields

1-2 servings

Ingredients

2 cups filtered water

2 cups chopped romaine lettuce

2 handfuls spinach

4 stalks of celery, chopped

1 granny smith apple, chopped

1 banana

1 tbsp. ground flax seeds

1 tbsp. chia seeds

Juice of 1 lemon

OPTIONAL: Bee pollen granules for garnish


Directions

Add water, romaine and spinach to blender and blend on high until smooth.  (Vitamix works best but any high speed blender will work). 

Add chopped celery and apple, blend. 

Add banana, ground flax, chia seeds and lemon juice. Blend until smooth. 

Drink, enjoy and say "You're welcome" when your skin thanks you for the delicious nourishment!
